What is Documentation?

Documentation is defined as a set of documents,  Documentation lists provide hardcopy, softcopy, digital or analog media, i.e may be audio, video, picture, text, etc. and is distributed through software products, websites, and other web applications. 

About Information Science:

In 1968, documentation changed its name to Information Science.It is mostly used for analysis, collection, classification, manipulation, storage, retrieval, movement, dissemination, and protection of information.

Historically, it is associated with:
